Project Studies at the Professorship of Technology & Innovation

Project Studies at TUM bring Companies and Students together and enable current academic knowledge to be applied to real life problems. The collaboration in the field Technology and Innovation management is guided by the Professorship of Prof. Dr. Claudia Doblinger. 

Current Project Studies / Proof of success

Stabilo has tasked a group of TUM Students to analyse the Segment of their Ballpoint pen market. 
Drawing on academic knowledge from various courses, including those offered by the Professorship of Technology and Innovation Management, the team assesses the current state of this specific market segment.

In close collaboration with members of Stabilo and under the guidance of Dominik Fischer, a doctoral candidate, the students develop informed interpretations and insights. The project culminates in a final presentation and written report, aimed at providing actionable recommendations for Stabilo’s ballpoint pen segment.

This collaboration with Stabilo offers students to work on a real-world business case, that is complemented by tangible resources such as product samples, relevant data, such as sales, and an on-site visit to Stabilo’s production facilities.
