Innovation and Technology Management
Welcome to the Professorship for Innovation and Technology Management at the TUM Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability!
In the following pages, you will find information about our research and teaching activities and who we are.
Our research and teaching activities are motivated by the fact that stimulating innovation in more efficient and cleaner technologies contributes to addressing some of the major challenges of the 21st century: climate change, air pollution, energy resource dependency on finite resources, and increasing global energy demand.
We bridge insights from innovation and technology management, entrepreneurship, and sustainability research to enhance the current understanding of the role of ecosystems, digitalization, and public policy in stimulating firm-level innovation activities using renewable resources. In our teaching activities, we seek to familiarize students with the fundamental knowledge to assess innovative opportunities in the context of renewable resources for new ventures and established firms.
